Timehop, a mobile-only app that allows users to get a snapshot of their past social media activity, has raised $3 million in Series A funding. Investors include Spark Capital and O’Reilly Alphatech Ventures. The New York City-based startup claims to be ‘A time capsule of you,’ and allows social media users to see status updates and photos from exactly a year ago. It was founded in 2010 and was part of the TechStars NYC winter 2010 class. The team previously raised $1.118 million in two Seed funding rounds.
