Rhiza lands $3M in new funding for big data analytics for big brands

Rhiza screenshotPittsburgh-based Rhiza, a big data analytics firm focused on ad sales for big brands, has completed a $3 million Series A funding round. Investors include Draper Triangle Ventures, Arthur Ventures and Camp One Ventures. The startup offers big data analytics based on what it calls ‘integrated consumer insights.’ It has already signed on an impressive list of customers that includes Comcast, Univision, Cox Media, CoxReps and Experian.

Rhiza was founded in 2008 by CEO Joshua Knauer, Michael Higgins, and CFO Maryl Curran Widdows, and this is its first round of outside funding.
