WritePath secures $525K for its international online copyediting and translation service

WritePath screenshotSingapore-based online translation and editing startup WritePath has closed a $525,000 Seed funding round. Investors in the round include B Dash Ventures and Pinehurst Advisors; and Angels Jamie Lin of AppWorks, Jackie Chang of GogoLook, and Bernard Chan, former entrepreneur-in-residence at Taiwan-based early-stage VC TMI Holdings.

The company runs three distinct websites serving college applicants, academic researchers, and international businesspeople: Topadmit.comTopsciedit.com, and Bizeditors.com. Its offerings include editing, translation, and even copywriting services.

WritePath was founded in 2009 by CEO Charles Chin and CTO Stefan Schneider, and this is its first round of outside funding.
