According to reports and an SEC filing from this week, viral video marketing startup ViralGains has raised $2.3 million in funding as part of a larger $3.3 million Seed offering. The Boston-based company, which is a graduate of the 500 Startups and MassChallenge accelerators, is focused on facilitating viral video ad campaigns and content through its Praxis marketing platform for content creators and advertisers alike. It already counts some big brands, like Campbell’s, AT&T, Honda, and WPP Group, as customers. Investors in the funding round include Hub Angels, Pallasite Ventures, LaunchCapital, 500 Startups’ Dave McClure and musician Nas (Nasir Jones).
