There’s an amazing amount of power in remembering the ‘little things’ for the employees on your team. After managing several teams in my career, I finally began to understand the importance of recognizing birthdays, work anniversaries, family events, and so on. While these may seem like ‘little things’ on the surface, they are significant events that can ultimately have an impact on how you recognize and relate with your team.

I created AwesomeBoss.com, which is designed to track and remember these events and details for you—along with a few other helpful tools for managers.

There are three main components to the site:

Never forget an important event: Get text message reminders for upcoming employee birthdays and work anniversaries, along with simple gift ideas.
Remember everything about your employees: Keep track of details that matter, such as their hobbies, their spouse’s name, favorite coffee, favorite snacks, and more.
Get coaching help when you need it: Access 30 coaching cue cards to help you handle nearly any conversation and subject with your team members.
