Uber isn’t just Uber. It’s Google Maps, Braintree payments, Twilio texts and much more. The best way to do business isn’t to build it all in-house. Top companies are increasingly piecing together a composite of specialized APIs. That lets them concentrate on their unique value add rather than reinventing the wheel, and dedicating 100 percent of their efforts on what will make them successful.

Stamplay is a cloud service that abstracts away all of the painful stuff that we really shouldn’t have to think about, empowering developers to code only what matters most. It’s like IFTTT and Heroku had a child. Stamplay brings together powerful components and services APIs in a way that you just need to define rules like: “When a user signs up with Facebook, send him a welcome email and add him on my newsletter,” or “if a user fills this form, charge him $25 with Stripe or PayPal.” We let you build Rome in a day.

It’s an easier, better, and faster way to put together a fully functional back-end mixing APIs and other building blocks.

FOUNDERS’ STORY

We started experimenting a couple of years ago building a product to empower marketers to launch engaging campaigns online. Then we realized that we had a shot at something much bigger: We could build a game changing visual tool to democratize web development.

MARKET OPPORTUNITY

Software is eating the world, but when it comes to build a new web or mobile app you still have to face so many problems, like: How do you setup servers? How do you login your users and keep track of them? How do you integrate services like payments or CRM?

All these things are pretty painful, and this is even before you start scaling your infrastructure. But what you really want to do is focus on what is your product doing that is different from everything else out there, because the more time you spend on that the more you’ll be likely to be successful.

HOW WE’RE UNIQUE

Competitors include Backend-as-a-Service solutions like Parse, Firebase or Treeline. We’re the only one providing a holistic view of the app, delivering an easier flow and more seamless experience. Building quality software quickly has become a competitive advantage for every business, so developer productivity has never been more valuable. But this is just the tip of the iceberg; we are making building software like using software, and our ambition is to make software development so easy and beautiful to empower a normal person to be able to make a site that’s as complex as a Kickstarter.
