ELEVATOR PITCH

Stackify provides software developers, operations and support managers with an innovative, cloud-based solution that gives them DevOps insight and allows them to monitor, detect and resolve cloud and on-premise application issues before they affect their users to ensure a better end user experience. This allows developers to easily isolate issues, identify what needs to be fixed more quickly, and focus their efforts.

PRODUCT/SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Stackify helps software developers monitor and troubleshoot problems with their applications. We offer the only developer-friendly solution that fully integrates error and log management, allowing them to resolve application issues before they affect the business to ensure a better end-user experience.

We offer three different stand-alone products, but used together they provide developers with all the tools they need to easily troubleshoot their applications.

The products are fully integrated:
● APM+ application performance management
● Application & Server Monitoring
● SmartELM – Smart Error & Log management

FOUNDER’S STORY

At my last company, I was the CTO of a rapidly growing software company. I noticed that agile
development had caused my developers to be much more involved in day-to-day IT operations,
but my team lacked the tools and server access to do it efficiently. I founded Stackify in 2012 to create a
suite of tools to solve this problem – a problem that virtually every software development team
has.

MARKETING/PROMOTION STRATEGY

We target the application developers market. This is an audience which moves very fast and has a short attention span, and at the same time is eager to learn about new technologies which could make them better at what they do.

Our marketing and promotion strategy is based on an integrated marketing campaign that is very targeted and focused on reaching our audience, software developers, through SEO-optimized content marketing (blog, white papers, infographics, articles) promoted through social media and specifically targeted outlets to attract the customers’ attention. We then use inbound marketing to capture their information and nurture them to encourage them to start our free trial. Once they do that, we strive to ensure a great onboarding experience in which they see the value of our product quickly and can be converted to paying customers.

MARKET OPPORTUNITY

The Application Performance Management market is expected to grow from $2.72 billion in 2014 to $4.98 billion by 2019, at a CAGR of 12.86%. In terms of regions, North America is expected to be the biggest market in terms of market size, while APAC is expected to experience increased market traction, during the forecast period. The Middle East and Africa (MEA), along with Latin America, offer a lot of opportunities for the vendors where the majority of the countries are yet to expansively adopt APM systems, according to a report by MarketsandMarkets.

The APM market is one market we compete in, we also compete with other tools that developers and DevOps are using to support applications. In a recent research report, Gartner estimated that the total for DevOps tools will reach $2.3 billion in 2015, up 21.1 percent from $1.9 billion in 2014.

HOW WE’RE UNIQUE

Stackify is competing with some small and large companies that mostly offer only one functionality out of many that we offer within our platform at a typically higher price. Our solution is very unique as it integrates application and server monitoring with code-level profiling and log and error management. This provides more complete visibility of the application health than other product on the market. But it goes beyond that as it provides the tools to identify the source of application issues and fix them faster, thus directly affecting user satisfaction and the business bottom line.

BUSINESS MODEL

We offer three products that can be bought separately or as an integrated platform. Each has a monthly price based on usage. We don’t require people to sign yearly contracts, instead charging them by the actual use of the product.

CURRENT NEEDS

Stackify has very aggressive goals for 2015, which include a very rapid growth in the amount of customers and revenues. The team is working very hard to get to these goals and ensure that the product we sell is at the highest quality level. While we expect more hires later in the year, we currently have an opening for Java developer.
