Los Angeles County Technology Week Kicks Off
1/22/07 - The fourth-annual Los Angeles County Technology Week, featuring events promoting the technology business community in the Los Angeles area, kicks off today with a “Fast Pitch Competition” at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. According to organizers, the competition presents management from startup companies the opportunity for a 60 second presentation of their business concept to venture capitalists.
Sponsored by a diverse group of companies, investors, business consortiums and colleges, Los Angeles County Technology Week will also include panels that address issues that range from sustainable technology, to marketing, to women entrepreneurs and executives.
The week of events is produced by Technology and Development Group, LLC, and presented in conjunction with the Business Technology Center of Los Angeles County. Los Angeles County Technology Week concludes Friday.
