eJamming Named DEMOgod at DEMO 07; Selected as Finalist for SXSW Technical Achievement Award
2/7/07 – eJamming, based in Valley Village and Florida, announced today that it was named a DEMOgod at last week’s DEMO 07 conference and it has been selected as a finalist for technical achievement in the South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive Web Awards.
eJamming provides a virtual practice, collaboration and recording studio for musicians and singers. With eJamming AUDiiO, the company says that any musician – acoustic or electronic, student or professional – can work and play with others in real-time, in sync, over the Internet.
eJamming was one of 10 companies (out of 68) to receive the prestigious DEMOgod award, which is given to the companies judged to have made the best presentations at the conference.
The company was also named one of five finalists in the technical achievement category at the upcoming SXSW Web Awards. Finalists are recognized for re-inventing and re-defining the technical parameters of the online experience. Winners will be announced at the SXSW Web Awards Ceremony on March 11. eJamming is also eligible to win the SXSW People’s Choice Award.
