LogicalApps Names CEO
2/13/07 – Irvine-based LogicalApps, the provider of embedded governance software for enterprise applications, has announced that Jim Zierick has joined the company as chief executive officer. Zierick is a 25-year industry veteran and former executive vice president of worldwide field operations for Peregrine Systems.

LogicalApps says that Capdevila will continue to be an active member of the company’s board of directors and the executive team focusing his efforts on the company’s strategic initiatives and corporate development.
Prior to joining Peregrine, Zierick was a partner with McKinsey & Co., where working with CEOs and other senior managers of technology and industrial companies, he identified an opportunity for a rapidly growing enterprise applications software provider to sustain growth by establishing a new $500 million market segment. Zierick also developed wired and wireless communications market entry strategies to help a leading semiconductor producer capture $1 billion of new revenues.
