Answerbag Launches Next Version of Social Q&A Service
4/2/07 – Santa Monica-based social networking web site Answerbag.com has launched an upgraded version of its question-and-answer service. New features include channels that separate “social” topics and “serious” topics, an enhanced ratings tool and enhanced navigation.
Answerbag says the company honed in on three distinct areas for the upgrade—the separation of social and fact-based question-and-answer, simplification of the search/ask process and the ability to personalize users’ experiences on the site.
The upgrade—version 5.0—of the site is up now at www.answerbag.com. Answerbag recently released a social question-and-answer API that gives users full access to their structured database of user-generated questions and answers.
