LogicalApps Releases New Plug-In for Enhanced User Provisioning

4/25/07 – Irvine-based LogicalApps, a company that provides embedded governance software for enterprise applications, today announced that a new plug-in is available for its ACTIVE Governance solution that enables Sun Java System Identity Manager customers to implement fully-automated and compliant user provisioning systems across their enterprise applications.

The company says that by integrating Sun Microsystems’ enterprise-wide identity management solution with ACTIVE Governance for real-time, preventive access controls within the ERP (enterprise resource planning) system, the new offering helps organizations overcome the limitations of native ERP security structures and protect sensitive information down to the field level.

Last week, LogicalApps released the latest version of ACTIVE Governance, which it says delivers enhanced segregation of duties (SOD) functionality, enabling organizations to detect SOD violations within their ERP system so they can be properly managed through rapid remediation and preventive controls.
