Teleflip Named Finalist for Red Herring 100
4/20/07 – Santa Monica-based Teleflip, which offers a service that allows the receipt of email and text messages on any mobile phone from any PC, announced its selection as a finalist for the Red Herring 100 award.
Teleflip recently debuted its flipMail service that allows consumers to have their current emails delivered directly to their cell phone, regardless of their wireless carrier or mobile handset, from any email account or service, personal or business, POP, webmail or Exchange.
The Red Herring editorial board surveyed the entrepreneurial scene throughout the North American region and identified the top 200 out of more than 800 closely evaluated companies.
The winning 100 companies will be announced at the Red Herring spring event in Monterrey, Calif. early next month.
