Fonality Strikes Deal with PC Mall

5/8/07 – Culver City-based Fonality, the open source telephony company, has announced a partnership with PC Mall for distribution of the company’s business phone system, PBXtra.  PC Mall is a large direct marketer of technology products to business, government, educational institutions and consumers.

The companies claim that the deal makes PC Mall one of the first direct marketers to sell business class voice-over-IP phone systems directly to small-and-medium size business customers.

Fonality says its small business-focused PBXtra Standard, PBXtra Professional and PBXtra Call Center support advanced enterprise features like voice-over-IP calling, advanced auto-attendant features, telecommuters, branch offices, drag-and-drop call control, conferencing and intra-office intercom for a fraction of the cost of traditional phone systems with similar features.
