VidShadow Acquires Minority Interest in MyNuMo
5/18/07 – Placentia-based VidShadow, an online video-sharing network, has acquired a minority interest in Los Angeles-based MyNuMo, an online community that lets its members create, share and sell mobile content. The companies say the investment includes a partnership that will give users of both services unique content-sharing opportunities through a platform that is now expanded to include both desktop and mobile devices.
MyNuMo says its portal delivers independently created content that is rated and promoted by its users and delivered to any mobile phone. The company recently announced a content partnership with SuperStock, a stock photography company, to convert images for download to mobile devices.
