Xirrus Launches Hotel-Based Wi-Fi Network
5/1/07 – Westlake Village-based Xirrus, provider of high-performance, long-range wi-fi products, announced today that the Best Western Antlers Hotel in Vernal, Utah, has deployed a Xirrus Wi-Fi network throughout the property, delivering free wi-fi access to its guests.
Best Western Antlers says it chose Xirrus after having previously deployed two other wi-fi networks from other vendors that delivered spotty coverage and failed to provide their guests with reliable high-speed access.
The announcement is part of a series of recent customer wins and deployments for Xirrus. Others have included a hospital in Liverpool, England, Charleston Southern University in South Carolina and Frost & Sullivan’s Mobile and Wireless Enterprise Conference in March.
