DevZuz Appoints New CEO

6/25/07 – Marina Del Rey-based DevZuz has appointed Dave Parker as its new CEO.  The company provides a delivery platform to connect large enterprises directly to open source projects and developers, and helps those companies effectively implement open source initiatives.

Parker was the original president of WebLogic, prior to its acquisition by BEA Systems.  His experience also includes positions at IBM, Exemplary Software and Quintus Corporation.

DevZuz also announced the appointment of Tom Brattvet as vice president of sales.  Brattvet has over 20 years of experience in technology sales, serving as head of sales at several companies including Serena Software and Borland Corporation.

DevZuz recently changed its name from Simula Labs.  It completed a series A financing round of $9.25 million from Mission Ventures and Redpoint Ventures earlier this year.
