TeleFlip Launches Cell Phone Email Service
6/8/07 – Santa Monica-based TeleFlip this week announced that it has officially launched its flipMail free email service for cell phones. The company says the service allows any cell phone user to receive and reply to existing e-mails from any POP, IMAP or web mail email account, personal or business, directly on any handset and through every individual carrier.
Teleflip says it utilizes the SMS data channel to deliver its service, and claims it is 100 percent spam free.
The company was founded in 2004.
