Xirrus Named by eWEEK as a Winner in Excellence Awards Program
6/21/07 – Westlake Village-based Xirrus, the provider of high-performance, long-range wi-fi products, has announced that eWEEK has named Xirrus’ Wi-Fi Array a winner in eWEEK’s Seventh Annual Excellence Awards program, in the Networking Infrastructure category. The winners in this year’s program were announced on June 11 at eWEEK.com and will be the focus of a comprehensive special report in the June 25 issue of the publication.
eWEEK, focused on enterprise IT professionals, says its Excellence Awards program provides its audience with a benchmark for assessing a wide range of technology products and services. Evaluating the entries this year was a panel of experts including eWEEK Labs analysts and eWEEK Corporate Partners.
Earlier this week, Xirrus announced the 11th deployment this year of its Wi-Fi Arrays product. The company, founded in 2004 by former Xircom executives, is backed by investors that include U.S. Venture Partners and August Capital.
