FastSoft to Accelerate U.S.-Asia Web Traffic for Pacific Internet Exchange

7/11/07 – Monrovia-based FastSoft, which develops products that accelerate Internet data transfer, today announced the deployment of its “Aria” acceleration tool to Pacific Internet Exchange LLC, a wholesale bandwidth and collocation services company that provides fiber optic bandwidth connecting North America and Asia.

FastSoft is another company that has emerged out of Caltech and its Office of Technology Transfer, where its patented FastTCP technology was developed.  The Aria product line is a single-box tool that speeds up the TCP Internet protocol, dramatically improving data distribution speeds, according to the company.

FastSoft is backed by Miramar Venture Partners and recently closed its series A round of funding.
