ThisNext Appoints Rob Goldman to Board of Directors
7/31/07 – ThisNext.com, a Los Angeles-based social product discovery and recommendation web site, has announced the appointment of Internet marketing and e-commerce veteran Rob Goldman to its board of directors.
Goldman was involved with the establishment of Shopping.com, holding an early position as vice president of business intelligence leading up to eBay’s acquisition of the company.
ThisNext is a social product and discovery site that utilizes experts, bloggers and regular consumers to personally endorse and recommend products to site users.
ThisNext’s board also includes Sumant Mandal, managing director at Clearstone Venture Partners; Todd Jerry, partner with Anthem Ventures; Jason Calacanis, co-founder of Weblogs and CEO of Mahalo.com; and Gordon Gould, co-founder and CEO of ThisNext.
The company was founded in 2005 by Gould and CTO Craig Ogg.
