Xirrus Deploys Wi-Fi Network Across UK Racing Circuits
7/25/07 – Westlake Village-based Xirrus, provider of high-performance, long-range wi-fi products, today announced another deployment of its Wi-Fi Arrays product, this time at multiple motorsport venues across the United Kingdom. The deployment was completed in conjunction with UK-based MotorSport Vision Ltd.
The deal was made through Xirrus reseller Wireless LAN Source. This is the 12th new major deployment of the Wi-Fi Arrays since January.
The company was founded in 2004 by former Xircom executives and is backed by investors that include U.S. Venture Partners and August Capital.
