Boingo Targets iPhone Users with Offer

8/1/07 – Santa Monica-based wi-fi hotspot network operator Boingo Wireless today announced that it is offering free wi-fi to iPhone users in 13 North American airports during August.  Boingo normally charges $21.95 per-month for unlimited access in North America.

Airports featured in the promotion include Kennedy and LaGuardia airports in New York, Thurgood Marshall in Baltimore and O’Hare in Chicago.

Boingo, founded in 2001 by EarthLink and Helio founder Sky Dayton, recently signed a deal to more than double its worldwide roaming network.
