Buzznet Partners Up with Mandy Moore
8/22/07 – Buzznet, the Hollywood-based social networking startup focused on music and pop culture, today announced that singer and actress Mandy Moore has created a profile on the site where she will personally share exclusive behind-the-scenes photos and videos shot while on the road throughout her upcoming nationwide tour. The company says that as part of the promotion fans will be able to win tickets and a meet and greet with the artist.
Buzznet says other well-known artists have created personal profiles and similar fan forums on the web site. The company, founded in 2005, says it has experienced steady growth over the last six months, now counting more than 8 million users. Buzznet is backed by Redpoint Ventures and Anthem Venture Partners.
