CircleUp Releases Outlook Toolbar
8/20/07 – CircleUp, the Newport Beach-based provider of a service that helps users organize email and instant messages, today announced the launch of a downloadable toolbar for Microsoft Office Outlook.
The free CircleUp service allows users to use email or instant messenger to ask a question or gather information from groups and get back a single, organized answer. The company says that the goal of the service is to allow users to send a question, announcement or information request to any size group and get back a result that can be acted on immediately.
The Outlook toolbar allows users to initiate new contact “circles,” view the status of questions and answers, and search for questions and answers across the CircleUp service, according to the company.
CircleUp was part of the DEMO 07 class earlier this year, and has garnered series A financing from Sid R. Bass Associates.
