ClipBlast to Index Video Content on Metacafe
8/17/07 – Agoura Hills-based ClipBlast, a startup that has built a proprietary online video search platform, this week announced it is partnering with Palo Alto-based Metacafe, a video site that claims more than 25 million unique viewers monthly. ClipBlast says that it will automatically index new video posted to Metacafe, enabling its viewers to find Metacafe video content on its site quickly and easily.
ClipBlast has developed the Video Navigator interface, which the company says continuously updates the largest index of video content across the Internet, and is the first web video technology engineered according to how people actually interact with video online.
ClipBlast was founded in 2004.
