Gumiyo Partners with AutoBase to Deliver Mobile Auto Classifieds

8/14/07 – Gumiyo, the Woodland Hills-based startup that develops e-commerce solutions for mobile devices, announced today that it is partnering with AutoBase.com to deliver AutoBase’s inventory of vehicle listings to interested buyers on mobile devices.  AutoBase is a data collection and distribution service for car sellers that offers high-quality digital photos, custom window labels, compliant buyers guides, data distribution, easy to use dealer backend reporting and pricing tools in several states throughout the U.S.

Gumiyo says the service will allow potential buyers to set preferences for year, make, model, price range and geographic radius.  Resulting matches will be delivered to the buyer as a text-message the moment the listings are published, allowing buyers to review listings on their phones and connect directly with the dealers, according to the company.

Gumiyo recently announced a partnership with edgeio, to bring edgeio’s listings to mobile devices, and the integration of Google Base listings into its service.
