Wannago.com Launches New Social Networking Application
Tweet8/23/07 – Los Angeles-based Wannago.com has launched its “Yes or Next” application, which the company says connects people offline based on their mutual interest in an event and in each other. Wannago is a social networking and dating site that is based on arranging meetups around local events and activities.
The company says the new application allows users to select an event they want to attend, give an anonymous “thumbs up” to members who chose the same event, and Wannago notifies both sides of the mutual interest.
In conjunction with the launch, the company says it is giving away tickets for the Los Angeles engagement of “Corteo” from Cirque Du Soleil.
Wannago launched earlier this year as MatchActivity and has received angel funding from the Tech Coast Angels.
