MusicIP Names New CEO
Tweet9/5/07 – MusicIP, the Monrovia-based digital music discovery and recommendations web site, today announced that Andrew Stess has been named CEO, replacing Matthew Dunn, who has served in the position since May of 2005. The company says Stess will also serve on its board of directors. MusicIP has developed music matching technology that defines relationships between sets of music based on acoustic traits and characteristics.
Stess comes to MusicIP after a four year stint with All Media Guide as vice president, consumer electronics. Prior to AMG, Stess served as director of sales and business development for online music and technology company Liquid Audio. Stess also currently serves on the board of directors for LyricFind, a search engine for full text lyrics.
