Oversee.net Names CFO
9/12/07 – Oversee.net, the Los Angeles-based online marketing and domain name solutions company, today announced that Stacey M. Peterson has been hired as CFO. The company says she will report directly to co-founder and CEO Lawrence Ng.
Peterson brings more than 20 years of experience in financial and operations management to Oversee, coming to the company from Internet Brands, where she was CFO.
Peterson also previously served as CFO, secretary and senior vice president at TTM Technologies, a publicly traded high-tech manufacturing company.
Earlier this year, Oversee.net was ranked as the third fastest growing private business in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Business Journal, and received the 2007 “Internet and New Media Company of the Year” award from the Technology Council of Southern California. In addition, CEO and co-founder Ng was named a winner of the 2007 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for the Greater Los Angeles program in the technology category.
Oversee offers marketing services in vertical markets, including mortgages and travel through its sites Low.com and Lowfares.com. In the domain management sector, the company owns DomainSponsor, which enables the monetization of Internet domains, and SnapNames, which makes expired and deleting domain names available for purchase.
The company was founded in 2000 and now counts more than 200 employees working out of its downtown L.A. headquarters and offices in Portland, Oregon, and San Mateo, Calif.
