PeopleJam says the online destination is a vertical social media site that includes integrated tools and technology for connecting people with common values and interests.  Features include blogging tools, professional life coaches that serve as site moderators, “inspirational” video, and audio.

The company says it has signed a number of strategic content partnerships for the site, including deals with Let’s Dance Media,  Nightingale-Conant Corporation and Stream4Media.

PeopleJam was founded by CEO Matt Edelman and president Robert Tercek, whose combined experience includes stints at Hands-On Mobile, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
