Fonality Acquires Insightful Solutions
Tweet11/5/07 – Fonality, the CulverCity-based open-source IP telephony company, announced today that it has acquired Insightful Solutions, a leading hosted CRM solution provider and a SugarCRM Gold partner for the Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific regions. The company says the acquisition is consistent with its goal of creating the industry’s first phone system that unifies both telephony and customer relationship management for small and medium-sized businesses.
Fonality says that by combining Insightful’s CRM expertise with Fonality’s telephony suite, small businesses will have an affordable solution that unifies employees with presence management, instant messaging, fixed and mobile calling, and provides a single 360-degree view of customers and business partners.
The new offering is called FonalityCRM, according to Fonality. FonalityCRM provides click-to-call dialing, agent screen pops and telephone campaign management for outbound sales teams, the company says.
Fonality targets the small-to-medium sized business market with enterprise-class IP telephony systems. It announced over the summer that its direct-to-customer PBXtra business phone system has been adopted by more than 500 organizations worldwide.
Investors include Azure Capital and Intel Capital.
