Break.com Hires Sales Head
Tweet12/10/07 – Los Angeles-based Break.com, the Internet video entertainment company, today announced the appointment of Andrew Budkofsky as senior vice president of sales. The company says that Budkofsky will be responsible for accelerating sales, client services and overall business development for the website.
Prior to this position, Budkofsky served as senior vice president of sales and partnerships for PodShow, a podcasting portal and Internet media company, where he was responsible for selling packages around video content. Prior to PodShow, Budkofsky served as vice president of sales at Court TV. Budkofsky has also worked in sales at Microsoft, where he managed the WebTV sales division and helped launch Ultimate TV, a Direct TV and Microsoft partnership that brought the first “all in one” box to the consumer market place.
Break says that it now has more than 18 million unique monthly visitors to its website. The company was founded in 1998, and recently secured $21 million in funding from Lionsgate Entertainment.
