Break.com to Bring Video Content to Verizon Wireless Customers
Tweet1/10/08 – Break.com, the Los Angeles-based Internet video entertainment company, has announced a partnership with Verizon Wireless to bring Break’s original content to Verizon’s V CAST Video service.
Break.com, which made the announcement at this week’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, features user-generated and professionally-produced video in popular categories ranging from sports to news to games. Through the partnership, Verizon V CAST Video customers get unlimited basic video, plus additional services available for an extra fee.
Break, founded in 1998, says that it now has more than 18 million unique monthly visitors to its web site. Earlier this year, it secured $21 million in funding from Lionsgate Entertainment.
