Inphi Corporation Selects Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Tweet1/2/08 – Westlake Village-based Inphi, which designs and develops integrated circuits for processing high-speed digital data in computing and communications systems, announced today that Ron Torten has been appointed as vice president of worldwide sales. The company says Torten will report directly to Inphi’s president and CEO, and will assume responsibility for the company’s entire sales group, including an extensive network of direct and independent sales organizations, manufacturer’s representatives and distributors in North America, Europe and Asia.
Torten brings more than 10 years of experience in executive and general management positions to the job. He comes to Inphi from NemeriX, where he was CEO. Previously, Torten was vice president, worldwide materials, at Agilent Technologies.
Inphi was founded in late 2000 and is backed by investors that include Tallwood Venture Capital, Mayfield Fund and Walden International.
