Elevator Pitch: We give consumers free competitive quotes for home services while promoting job prospects for local contractors with an open and fair competitive bidding process that enables more competition and transparency.

Product/Service Description

NetBidON is a web portal that enables consumers to post their home projects to get free quotes from local contractors who are competing in an online bidding process. Our web portal also generates job leads for local contractors. It caters to a variety of industries, including, but far from limited to, home improvement, handyman services, housekeeping, beauticians, business services, and personal assistants.

Founders’ Story

My partner Marie and I developed NetBidON’s web portal with the goal of bringing competitive pricing for home services, flexibility for time-pressured consumers and job leads for local contractors. We have been honored to play a role in the federal funding program E-Rate, which has funded schools and libraries in the country to afford today’s telecommunication services with over $20 billion. Like other government programs and entities, the E-Rate program relies on an open-and-fair bidding process to enforce competitive pricing and better services for telecommunication products and services. Marie and I knew that it was time to bring an online bidding process to the mainstream for home services.

NetBidON graphicMarketing/Promotion Strategy

Our goal is to become a resource for homeowners and our communities with strong engagement via our web portal, blog and other social media facilities. We are networking with local organizations, such as non-profits, churches, and schools that share our common interests—families, job opportunities, and education.

Market Opportunity

While traditional online auction sites like Amazon and eBay have become extremely popular in recent years, there is still a need for consumers to select local service providers via online competitive bidding. NetBidON is connecting consumers who are looking for competitive pricing for home services with local contractors.

How We Differentiate From the Competition

We are transforming online business-to-consumer connections in a way that no online business directories or social media websites currently do. NetBidON transforms consumers into customers because the target is reciprocal. NetBidON creates a new relationship between consumers and business entities, where consumers are soliciting businesses by posting their job requests for bidding, and business entities are in direct rapport with consumers who are actively seeking their services.

Business Model

Business entities can purchase a subscription plan that enables them to submit bids to posted job requests to win jobs while promoting their services to active consumers.

Current Needs

As a brand new startup, we face challenges such as branding, capital, and more. However, we are putting our focus on our customers by becoming a resource support while promoting opportunities and savings via online networking.
