Skully Helmets Wins Distinguished SXSW Accelerator Award in Wearable Technology Category

AR-1 Helmet Selected for its Innovative Technical Design and Safety Applications 

SAN FRANCISCO – March 10, 2014 – Skully Helmets (www.skullyhelmets.com) today announced that it has won the coveted SXSW Accelerator Award in the Wearable Technology category. The groundbreaking AR-1 helmet that that provides motorcycle riders with an intelligent heads-up display system, a full 180-degree rear view camera, Bluetooth connectivity, GPS navigation and voice control was chosen for its innovative technological design and safety applications. Skully Helmets was honored at a ceremony Sunday, March 9, 2014 and received a $4,000 dollar prize.

The SXSW Accelerator Award is the latest recognition for Skully Helmets.
