Sober is a fun way to connect with other sober people around you! Swipe right to “like” or swipe “left” to pass anonymously. If someone likes you back, you’re a match! If you come across someone you know, don’t be shy, send them a friend request. Chat with friends and matches, or share pictures and post status updates to all your friends.

An average of 12%-14% of the population is sober, and with the emergence of “healthy lifestyles” and the rate of addiction climbing, there has been an increase in people choosing to live sober. People in sobriety tend to socialize mainly among themselves, due to the support and commonality of one another, and to avoid tempting or dangerous situations. This has created a strong community of people who are ready to start dating and socializing in an online environment that is designed solely for people like themselves.

There is no cure for the disease of addiction and the only solution found, to help people get sober, are support groups. Support groups allow individuals to meet other sober people, socialize together, and help support one another. Hence, the core solution to staying sober is to socialize with and surround yourself with other sober people.

Antoine Nauleau is the Founder, CEO, and Software Engineer for Sober. This is his second start up and was previously part of the founding team at Aisloc, Inc.
