SANTA MONICA, Calif.— August 27, 2015 — Cornerstone OnDemand (NASDAQ:CSOD), a global leader in cloud-based talent management software solutions, today announced the first series of investments made through the Cornerstone Innovation Fund, the company’s strategic venture arm focused on investing in and collaborating with the next generation of cloud startups. The companies in the first series of investments include One Month, Rallyteam, Strive, and Workpop.

The Cornerstone Innovation Fund invests in early to growth stage companies that have been identified for their transformative ideas in and around talent management and have the potential to extend Cornerstone’s ecosystem. As a strategic partner, Cornerstone provides companies with mentorship, distribution, and resources to support the development of their growing businesses.

The first series of Cornerstone Innovation Fund companies include:

  • One Month, the first-ever online school for entrepreneurship, and the best place to learn a new technical skill online in just one month. The company offers a variety of award-winning online courses designed to help entrepreneurs quickly learn a new skill or software tool – such as Ruby, Python and Swift – within 30 days.
  • Rallyteam is a new type of talent networking platform that enables companies to better understand and utilize their most valuable assets – their people. Rallyteam intelligently matches employees to projects, tasks, ideas and people, enabling teams to quickly self-organize and companies to respond faster to change.
  • Strive automates the technical hiring process so companies can source qualified software developers, test their coding skills, and hire more effectively. In an increasingly competitive market for technical talent, Strive allows companies to access passive candidate pools through authentic engagement, while ensuring that the hiring process is effective and developer friendly.
  • Workpop connects service economy employers and candidates in a robust community to make the hiring process easier, friendlier and more fun. In a world that is still driven by walk-ins, paper applications, job boards, and outdated applicant tracking systems, Workpop believes there is a better way to pair employers and candidates.
