Appwiz jumps into the mobile monetization fold with $1.4M in funding

Appwiz, Tel Aviv-based mobile monetization startup, has raised $1.4 million in funding from Magma Venture Partners and other undisclosed private investors. The company is jumping into an increasingly crowded mobile ad network space by connecting mobile web publishers directly to app developers, with the goal of helping publishers generate new revenue and app devs reach wider audience. It was founded in the summer of 2012 by Yariv Ron and Gil David.
