Menlo Park, California-based anti-fraud and ID verification startup BlockScore has raised $2 million in Seed funding. Investors include Battery Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, New Atlantic Ventures, Boost VC, Y Combinator and Angel investors. The company’s target markets are financial institutions, marketplaces, and sharing economy firms. The company says its service can be implemented in just a day with no upfront fees.
It was founded in 2013 by Alain Meier, John Backus, and Christopher Morton, and the team raised an initial $25,000 from Lightspeed.
