Executive Andrea Short joins Swiss think tank Horasis as advisor

The world exists, undoubtedly, in a constant state of technological acceleration, and leaders need all the expert insight they can afford in order to make decisions and enact strategies capable of serving the scores of individuals who depend upon them for guidance.

Horasis, an independent, international think tank founded in 2005  by Frank-Jürgen Richter, understands the demand for such insight as it aims to provide the leaders of emerging economies access to ideas built to fuel sustainable innovation.

With that said, Horasis’ recent announcement that Andrea Short, marketing executive at cloud computing enterprise Ingram Micro Cloud, will be joining the organization as technology advisor should come as no surprise given Ms. Short’s expertise in generating marketing-generated revenue for multi-billion dollar tech organizations.

For more than 20 years, Ms. Short has pushed the envelope in the field of marketing innovation. Leaders keen to extrapolate their knowledge of brand awareness, innovation, and execution to the post-pandemic digital landscape will find her take on pertinent topics such as brand building and social media presence refreshing and rewarding.

As a marketing executive at Ingram Micro Cloud, one of her endeavors involve the enterprise’s flagship conference Cloud Summit, which returns this May after a two-year hiatus due to Covid. This year’s conference will feature segments celebrating Women In Cloud across a series of talks and special partner awards designed to platform female leaders in tech.

“I am excited to have Andrea on board as a technology advisor” said Frank-Jürgen Richter, Chairman of Horasis.

“Her insights on technology, marketing strategies, brand building, and technology will allow us to gain a deeper understanding of global organizations. We are thrilled to see the impact her knowledge will have on our global community,” he added.

Status-quo thinking has no room in he strategies, as is testament to the $613M in marketing-driven revenue she oversaw in FY2017 in a previously held position. Leaders can expect to gain deep insights into the most pertinent processes their organizations need in order to grow in the constantly evolving digital space.
