Elevator Pitch: At KickerPicker, we believe that the future of online shopping is when people can be happy, enjoy, and share their online buying experiences with friends; therefore we developed a social place where buying and selling is an interactive and fun activity.

Product/Service Description

KickerPicker.com is a social network—‘trendy classifieds wall.’ It is a new and rapidly-growing company with a registered trademark in the EU.

Kickerpicker.com is not a typical e-shop, but a place where people can buy, sell, and exchange their things on a fun and interactive platform. Sellers are encouraged to give their wares a personal touch by uploading their photos, videos and presenting them in other creative ways.

Founders Story

I’m Donatas Juskus, CEO and founder of KickerPicker. I have more than five years of experience in developing online SaaS, B2B, B2C, C2C solutions. I’ve started my professional career at Deloitte and then switched to e-business development. I hold 74 percent of KickerPicker.

Marketing/Promotion Strategy

KickerPicker.com is implementing an online advertising strategy via Google and Facebook ads. Making partnerships with key players in the local markets is of key importance, as it allows the company to grow quick and build a user base faster.

KickerPicker’s main competitors are Craigslist.org and Swap.com. Although unlike Craigslist, KickerPicker.com is never supposed to become a simple billboard and classifieds’ platform. KP wants people to not only upload impersonal information—we want people to buy, sell, share, swap in social style, showing their faces, being interactive, socially engaged with each other when selling and buying online.

KickerPicker.com will work globally, and in each country it will be translated into local languages so that people would not have any difficulties with the communication with each other; and the transportation/logistics of their stuff/items would be almost imminent.

How We Differentiate From the Competition

Kickerpicker.com is not a typical e-shop, but a place where people can buy, sell, and exchange their things on a fun-and-interactive platform. Sellers are encouraged to give their wares a personal touch by uploading their photos, videos and presenting them in other creative ways.

Business Model

KickerPicker.com’s business model consists of three ways of monetization:

-shipping transaction fees/commissions;

-online payments transaction fees/commissions;

-targeted advertising.

Current Needs

KickerPicker.com is looking to fund raise €500,000-to-€1 million.

Investment will be allocated for the promotional campaigns in the U.S./UK markets: Google ads, Facebook ads, PR activities; formation of partnerships with major youth organizations, universities; formation of a small, but efficient in-house programming team; as well as to cover office and server costs.
