PRODUCT/SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Supacell LED uses the latest technology to deliver superior LED lighting that can save customers money over the long term and also benefit the environment compared to the impact of normal incandescent bulbs. With Supacell LED, customers can achieve more light output from much less power consumption. Supacell LED’s have a lifespan of over 30 thousand hours. It saves up to 90% energy compared to normal filament bulbs and up to 50% compared to CFL lamps. If used 3 to 4 hours a day, they could last up to 25 years, bringing enormous cost savings to their customers. The products can be fitted in just a few seconds and can easily be controlled via remote programmable systems and mobile technology, this way staying up to date with the latest trends on the market.

DIFFERENTIATORS VS. THE COMPETITION

Supacell LED differentiates itself from the competition with the following top features:

Supacell LED uses the highest quality A+ smart LED chips to give better and brighter light quality. While most of the competition offers a CRI (Color Rendering Index) rating of under 80, Supacell provides 83+ CRI offering the highest number of lumens per watt on the market.

It has an ACD driver (Advanced Constant Driver) incorporated which enables the bulb to turn on and off at least 15,000 times over its lifetime. This is patented technology that ensures the longevity of the lamp that no other competitor uses.

All of Supacell LED lamps have gone through rigorous testing to ensure that they perform exactly as they should, and in many cases they exceed stated performance levels. This differs from the context of the competition, in which independent reports are showing some of the biggest sellers fail to reach the standards publicised and other brands are being withdrawn from the market due to faulty wiring. Supacell LED have invested consistently to ensure testing and certification of the highest standards are achieved. Unlike many lamps currently on the market Supacell LED are TUV Rheinland tested and certified as well as European CE Certified.

Supacells’s LEDs produces less heat than competitor lamps, as they use die-cast aluminium heat sinks. These maximize the LED’s surface area and increase the contact of the cooling medium that surrounds it for efficient heat dissipation.

FOUNDER’S STORY  

Imran Hussain, the Managing Director of Multibrands, conceived the idea of the Supacell brand after purchasing an 800 year old manor house – which had over 300 incandescent light bulbs. He decided to replace all the bulbs to LED in order to save costs over the long term and make a positive impact on the environment. This turned out to be a near impossible task; as bulbs were either too cheap and low end, or far too expensive.

This led to, what he refers to as his own “lightbulb moment,” in which Imran decided to design an entirely new LED lightbulb that was both high quality and low price.

Imran had a professional background in the lighting industry. He built on this expertise researching LED technologies and finally developing his own brand of LED for Multibrands, providing a high quality product, with reduced environmental impact and greater cost effectiveness – all in one clear and easy to identify package. Imran is passionate about eco-technology and has implemented this approach throughout the entire business. As an example, much of his company’s work is done online through servers and the cloud rather than on paper.
