Some of the world’s most promising financial technology (Fintech) startups will pitch their ventures to a panel of distinguished media judges at Connect: Fintech.
On October 28 from 1PM – 2:30PM ET, six early and later stage companies will present to a panel of media judges from general technology, business and financial technology publications to be crowned the winner of Connect: Fintech.
The event is part of a series of Connect competitions by Publicize, a public relations firm for growth. The organizers have held previous events focusing on other sectors like healthcare, as well as geographical regions such as Colombia, Mexico and Miami, Florida.
The pandemic, and the social distancing in daily life associated with it, has accelerated the growth of financial services technologies and e-commerce, an industry that Accenture said investors poured over $53 billion into last year globally.
Amid this industry growth, the Connect: Fintech event will provide a platform for promising fintechs to interact with the media, while simultaneously providing leading journalists a glimpse into the future of the industry.
After the pitch competition, the organizers have allowed for an open Q&A session with audience members, and registrationn for the event is completely free.
