Drync, startup with a refreshingly creative name and a very serious mission to help people research and remember wine using their mobile devices, has raised $900,000 in Angel funding. Investors include Mark Hastings, managing partner of Garvin Hill Capital Fund, Jack Remondi, and Andrew Moss, founder of BuyWithMe. The app allows users to scan labels or search and filter wine lists from restaurants and tastings, and then buy the wine directly from the app. It’s the Boston-based company’s first round of funding.
