San Francisco and Ultimo, Australia-based recruiter marketplace RecruitLoop has closed $500,000 Seed funding round to power its platform that is designed to disrupt the way independent HR recruiters do business. Investors include Russia’s The Untitled VC and Microsoft executive Todd Forest. The company seeks to commoditize the process of hiring and working with recruiters through project-based marketplace. The startup already counts several big firms as clients, including eBay and Canon. It was launched in mid-2011 by Michael Overell, Denis Zubkov, Paul Slezak and Sydney Seed Fund General Partner Garry Visontay.
