Funding and Acquisitions Roundup: AppLift scores with a $13M funding round for its mobile games ad platform

Today’s early-stage startup funding and acquisitions news:

AppLift, Berlin–based mobile games marketing startup, has raised $13 million in Series A funding from Prime Ventures. The company’s platform is a mobile ad network geared toward monetizing traffic. The company was launched and backed by mobile games incubator HitFox in 2012 and has locations in San Francisco, Seoul and Paris in addition to its Berlin headquarters. Within HitFox, the co-founders of AppLift are co-CEOs Kaya Taner, previously HitFox’s head of publisher relations, and Tim Koschella, HitFox co-founder.
