Virtual reality startup Oculus VR has secured $16 million Series A funding round. The giant round was led by Spark Capital and Matrix Partners. It follows the company’s successful $2.4 million dollar Kickstarter campaign that shattered its goal of $250,000. Oculus VR makes an advanced 3D, motion detecting Virtual Reality headset. The Irvine, California-based startup was founded in 2012 by Palmer Luckey.
