HMD’s Omni-Pro ‘all in one’ device for medical practitioners reaches Indiegogo goal

Omni-Pro features 11 different functions in each set making it easy for doctors and nurses on the go.

Mount Laurel, NJ – HMD, a multi-functional medical device company, announces it has surpassed their Indiegogo pre-order campaign goal, but units still remain at half price before it surges when it hits the market.

The innovators at HMD have developed Omni-Pro—the first-ever “11 in 1” patented unit for doctors and other medical practitioners on the go, calling it the “Swiss Army Knife” of medical devices.

Each set features 11 commonly used components including an Otoscope, Ophthalmoscope, Tongue depressor, Blue Light Filter, Magnifying Glass, Caliper, Stethoscope, Reflex hammer, Disposable Specula, Sensory Hearing Screener, Tuning forks, Babinski test, plus a disposable Specula and dispenser.

Each unit is micro USB rechargeable.

Dr. William Hasbun, an internist and geriatrician in Mount Laurel, New Jersey developed the Omni-Pro. He has been in practice for over 40 years and is a former professor of medicine at Columbia University as well as University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

“The reason we developed the Omni Pro is to address the health professional requirements for diagnostic devices. In addition, to provide an accurate and complete examination of the patient while increasing the examiner’s efficiency,” Dr. Hasbun said.

HMD’s Omni-Pro will be live on Indiegogo for only 15 more days before prices increase at HMDMedical.com. Early bird special pricing starts at $225 per unit.

About HMD: HMD’s mission is to develop mult-functional medical devices that can be distributed to health professionals to enhance the future of diagnostic services. http://hmdmedical.com.
